A Breakfast Full of Surprise — with Christmas Kindness

One of my favorite holiday traditions is participating in a “Surprise the Waitress” breakfast. 💛

A group of us gets together, enjoys a good meal, and then each chips in extra to leave a huge tip — usually several hundred dollars more than the server would ever expect.

There’s something truly special about surprising someone who’s just doing their job, especially this time of year. The moment they realize what’s happening… when the tears start, so do mine.

It’s such a simple reminder that a little generosity can go such a long way — and that kindness really is contagious.
